Hero Roulette
Hero Roulette is a prize-wheel event: you spend Lucky Chips to spin a wheel of ten reward slots, and the featured hero is Porter. Most of what you win pushes Porter forward, since Porter Shards are the most common outcome and collecting them is how you recruit him and raise his star rating.
One spin costs one Lucky Chip, but spinning ten at once costs only nine, so a batch of ten is a flat 10 percent discount. Always spin in tens when you have the chips. If you run out, you can spend Gems to keep spinning. Your pool of available spins refreshes daily at 00:00 UTC, and the free Lucky Chip Pack resets every day the event is live, so claiming it gets you at least one free Lucky Chip a day (plus small resources) with no spend. Those free chips add up into free spins over the run of the event.
Every spin also counts toward the spin milestones at 5, 15, 35, 70, and 120 total spins, and that total never resets during the event. Each milestone hands out Porter Shards plus stacks of Mythic Conquest Skill Books and Mythic Expedition Skill Manuals, so no spin is wasted even when the wheel lands on a resource pack. Lucky Chips come from the free daily pack and the paid Lucky Chip Packs, which you can buy with cash or Gems.
