Fishing Tournament

This event has a full strategy guide: read the Fishing Tournament guide

The Fishing Tournament is a seasonal minigame event on a four-season cycle (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn). You spend Bait to play a skill-based cast: sink your hook while dodging fish on the way down, then catch them on the way back up. Some fish, mermaids, and chests only appear in certain seasons, so the catalog rotates as the seasons turn.

Every catch pays out in two currencies. Fishing Points set your rank on the Master Fisher Leaderboard and level up your Fishing Guild for permanent Point and Token bonuses. Fishing Tokens upgrade your Fishing Kit (Line for depth, Hook for haul, Sinker for start depth) and fuel the Sunken Treasure Hunt; every 10 Tokens left over at the end convert to 10K resources. The kit resets each season, so the climb restarts every rotation.

There are two ways to fish. Regular Fishing spends Bait (you start with 5 and regain 1 every 3 hours, up to 10). Ocean Prospector spends a Treasure Chart to enter rare-fish zones with your kit maxed out. Consumables help on a cast: the Lantern lights water below 300m, the Ocean Scanner points to rare fish, the Reel protects against being pulled up early, and the Horn of the Tide summons a target.

Cosmetics are a headline draw, and most carry a stat bonus. Completing Collection Guide sets grants permanent skins and frames: the Sailor’s Anthem city skin (Squads’ Attack +2%), the Abyss Dancer march skin (Solo Hunting March Speed +5%), and the Master Angler avatar frame (Squads’ Defense +2%), alongside a Master Angler nameplate. Placing high on the Master Fisher Leaderboard earns 30-day versions of the same kinds of rewards: the Sea King’s Blessing skin, the Kraken Fleet march skin, and the Sea Devotion frame. Separately, the Fishing Guild level track hands out the permanent Fish Feast chat and map emote.

The full playbook is in the Fishing strategy guide.
