Desert Trial
Desert Trial is a recurring beast-hunt event: it first appears on the third day after your Empire opens, then returns about every two weeks. Each run gives you three days of hunting (the event sits on the calendar for around five days, but hunting is only open for three). Hunting beasts around the map during the event gives you a chance to collect Clawshards, and spending them reveals the location of the Dreadwolf prowling the badlands.
Bringing the Dreadwolf down is how you recruit Thora, the event's reward hero: a Heroic Mercenary who boosts your marching speed while cutting stamina costs. Rally other Governors against it with Stamina for bigger payouts.
Pace your rallies: Dreadwolf rally rewards are capped at 50 per day, so spreading attempts across the event window beats burning everything on day one.
