The Simple Lordrush Resource Hack: How to Get Millions of Extra Resources
In the high-stakes world of Lordrush, resource management is the silent engine that drives your Town’s progression. Whether you are racing to hit Town Center level 30 or preparing for the next competitive event in your Empire, you have likely felt the sting of a resource bottleneck at some point. Most players find themselves constantly short on Bread (food), Wood, Stone, or Iron at some point as they advance through the game.
While gathering resources in the wilderness and participating in events like Bear Hunt are the primary ways to fill your resource bag, many players overlooking a massive source of "free" resources right inside their own Town Hall. By avoiding a common mistake with the sequential order in which you issue decrees, you can obtain millions of additional resources, even as a free-to-play player.
This guide breaks down the "Rush Job" trick, the math behind the stacking buffs, and the exact step-by-step process to maximize your town's output.
The Foundational Mechanics: Understanding Decrees
To execute this trick, you first need to be familiar with the Decrees panel, which can be accessed by selecting the Court of Justice building or selecting the Decree menu on the bottom right of your screen. Within this menu, you have several edicts that provide temporary boosts or instant rewards to your city. The two we are focusing on are:
The Rush Job Edict: This decree can be triggered once every 24 hours. When activated, it provides you with five in-game days worth of resources from your town’s production buildings instantaneously.
The Productivity Day Edict: This decree doubles the output of all resource-producing buildings (farm, sawmill, quarry, and iron mine) for exactly one in-game day.
Most players use these edicts in isolation. They might hit "Rush Job" when they need a quick injection of wood or bread to start an upgrade, and they might use "Productivity Day" during an active play session to boost passive income. However, using them separately is the "common mistake" that costs you millions of bonus resources.
The Secret to Stacking: Productivity Before Rush
The core of this strategy lies in a hidden interaction: Productivity Day and Rush Job stack!
When you activate Productivity Day, your building's "base" daily production is doubled for the next 24 hours. If you then immediately trigger Rush Job, the game calculates those "five days of resources" based on your current (doubled) production rate.
The Efficiency Gap
To illustrate the impact, consider the production of a standard town with industry buildings around levels 27 to 29:
The Wrong Way: Using Rush Job alone might yield approximately 1.5 million resources.
The Right Way: Using Productivity Day first, followed immediately by Rush Job, yields approximately 2.5 million resources.
By simply changing the order of your clicks, you gain an extra 1 million resources per day. Over a standard 30-day month, this adds up to 30 million resources that you would have otherwise left on the table.
Step-by-Step Guide to the "Rush Job" Trick
To ensure you get the maximum possible return, follow this exact sequence every 24 hours:
Step 1: Open the Decrees Panel
Navigate to your Town Hall and enter the Decree/Edict menu. Ensure your resource buildings are not currently under any other conflicting buffs.

Step 2: Activate "Productivity Day"
Select the Productivity Day edict first. You will see a little animation play out. This sets the new, higher baseline for the instant calculation.

Step 3: Activate "Rush Job"
Immediately after, trigger the Rush Job edict before Productivity Day expires. You will receive a massive pop-up showing the five days of resources being added to your inventory. Because of the Step 2 buff, this total is significantly higher than usual.

Please note that this will not be a direct doubling of the resources you get by using Rush Job normally. The “doubling” of Productivity Day only applies to the base resource production rate before any additional modifiers (e.g. from Blue Hero abilities or Academy Research) are applied. Despite this, you will still end up with millions of additional combined resources each day from highly leveled buildings.
Step 4: Offset the Mood with "Festivities"
Productivity Day often comes with a trade-off: it can negatively impact the "mood" of your town’s residents. To avoid negative consequences like that (such as lower daily bonuses or at worst, a 30% resource production loss), it is advisable to use issuing a Festivities decree. This helps offset the mood penalties and keeps your city running smoothly while you enjoy your new millions.

The Urgent Mobilization Variation
There is also an Urgent Mobilization decree. Many Lordrush players mistakenly think this combos with Rush Job, but it does not. It has not modifying effect on the base resource generation rate of your buildings but rather makes your residence work them longer.
This does mean that it stacks with Productivity Day, since your workers will be working slightly longer on the day that Productivity Day is enabled. However, this will not yield you that much more additional resource reward.
Urgent Mobilization also comes with a few drawbacks. Urgent Mobilization has a negative impact on Mood for residents as well, which needs to be offset or you will see a corresponding decrease in resource production or other daily rewards.
Urgent Mobilization also cannot be active at the same time as Festivities. So you cannot immediately use Festivities after doing this trick if you opted for Urgent Mobilization. This can lead to Lordrush players forgetting to activate it and suffering negative Mood consequences int heir town.
Finally, Urgent Mobilization uses additional Contentment to execute. In the late game, this is fine since you will have enough. However in the early game, you may need that contentment for other edicts since you might not have enough to do all of them each day.
Still, if you are undeterred from the risks and want to use Urgent Mobilization to get a few extra resources, then simply consider it as an additional step you trigger before Productivity Day in the sequence above.
Why This Matters for Your Progression
In Lordrush, resources are a major bottleneck. They are required for all sorts of things from building construction to troop training to Academy research. Being short on resources can come unexpectedly when making a big upgrade, so it is important to “get ahead” of these bottlenecks with good daily resource hygiene, such as using this trick even when you think you have enough resources.
Bypassing the Bottlenecks
As you progress toward Town Center level 30, building costs skyrocket into the hundreds of millions. Furthermore, once you enter the later game and new features are released, you will find that you need massive amounts of basic resources for converting to other scarce resources. So start doing this now!
By using this resource trick, you are essentially "buying" yourself several days of gathering time every month for free. This allows you to start high-level upgrades without waiting for gathering marches to return, fund the expensive healing costs incurred during PvP events like Castle Battle, and ensure you always have enough on hand so your Research Academy does not sit idle.
Expert Optimization Tips
Building Levels Matter: The effectiveness of this trick scales directly with the level of your resource buildings. Governors with level 30 buildings will see even higher returns than the 30 million monthly estimate.
Consistency is Key: Because Rush Job is on a 24-hour cooldown, try to set a daily alarm or a consistent time (like right after the server reset) to perform this "Productivity -> Rush" combo. You can make sure this ability gives you a notification in game whgen it is ready by making sure the bell icon is enabled. Missing even a few days a month can cost you millions in potential gains.

Make sure this bell icon is enabled!
Conclusion
Success in Lordrush is about who plays the smartest (within a given spending amount). By understanding how edicts stack and being intentional with your Town Hall management, you can generate a resource advantage over your free-to-play competitors. Or if you are a spender, it will mean buying less resource packs (which tend to have wasteful economics), and buying other packs which will have more long-term impact on your account.
So stop making the common mistake of using your edicts one by one. Stack your buffs and watch your resource totals soar!
