Court of Justice

The Court of Justice is the location where you can find Governor Orders to enact (originally called “Decrees” at game launch). There are 6 different Governor Orders, and each of them requires a resource called Contentment to enact and a cooldown period before they can be used again.

Contentment is generated by your Residents as they go about their day, and it can be increased through upgrades in their House or the Kitchen.

The Governor Orders all relate to the Residents working capabilities and output from resource buildings (Mill, Sawmill, Quarry, and Iron Mine) as well as their happiness. Generally, actions which increase the worker output of Residents will harm Satisfaction, but this can be counteracted with the Festivities Governor Order. You can enhance the effectiveness of some of these Decrees depending on the order in which you enact them, as described in this guide.

There is also a separate Decree to instantly heal all sick Residents, irrespective of whatever investments you have made in the Clinic. However, for any Lordrush player beyond the first week or so of playing, there is one Governor Order that has longevity as the most useful: Double Time.

Double Time will reduce the building time by 20% of any building started during the 5 minutes where the Governor Order is active. This can save you literal months of building time over the course of your Lordrush journey, and thus it is a key input for whenever you use a Building Calculator.

This building has no upgrade levels.
