Strat Game Sloth Strategic Summary

Miko’s primary function is in Expedition mode, where she is categorized by Lordrush as a growth hero designed to accelerate your city's recovery and account tech. Her signature growth skill, Exorcism, provides an additive 50% boost to troop healing speed, which is valuable for sustaining your army during high-intensity PvP combat. That said, it is probably the least valuable of the Generation 1 hero growth abilities given the variety of ways you can improve troop healing speed and it's limited impact on building your account tempo. However, her primary expedition skill, Tri-Phalanx, offers a 25% army-wide attack buff. Given what we now know about the damage formula, this is an equivalently valuable ability as the 25% lethality bonus provided by Rita or Hyeri. In fact, it has a multiplicative relationship in enhancing damage whereas simply stacking lethality bonuses on their own is only additive. This means strategic players can mix and match her ability with the other joiner heroes to maximize damage in Bear Hunt. This gives her long-term usefulness not only in Bear Hunt, but also in supporting attacking rallies in Castle Battle that try to dislodge opponents from the garrison. For Conquest and Arena mode, Miko is a lower-priority archer hero who struggles to find a meaningful place in most tactical formations. Her signature ability, Sakura Blossom, attempts to serve a support role by providing a small attack and attack speed buff to all allies, but its frustrating 7-second cast time often delays the benefit until after the most decisive ultimate abilities have already fired. While her Divine Melody passive allows her to scale her personal attack speed as a battle progresses, she ultimately lacks the burst potential of single-target specialists like Cyprus or the impact of area-of-effect damage dealers like Thora and Hyeri to make good use of it. Consequently, governors should focus their Conquest skill books on more influential damage dealers, only investing in Miko once their primary hero roster is fully established.
