Build Profiles
Build Profiles
Build profiles determine how the optimizer prioritizes different stats when recommending upgrades. Each profile assigns a weight to Health and Lethality for each troop type.
Higher weight = higher priority. A stat with weight 1.5 is prioritized 50% more than a stat with weight 1.0.
Formation Context: These profiles are designed for the common 50:20:30 (Infantry:Lancer:Archer) expedition formation. Infantry serves as the frontline tank, Archer provides primary DPS, and Lancer acts as flankers.
Early Game Growth (Default)
Recommended for most players - PvE progression focus
| Stat | Weight |
|---|---|
| Infantry Health | 1.5 |
| Infantry Lethality | 0.7 |
| Lancer Health | 0.2 |
| Lancer Lethality | 0.4 |
| Archer Health | 0.7 |
| Archer Lethality | 1.4 |
Best for: Vikings, Bear Hunt, Mystic Trial, and general expedition progression.
Philosophy: Prioritizes Infantry survivability (tanking PvE content) and Archer damage output (primary DPS). Lancer receives minimal investment as they provide poor returns in early PvE content.
Early Game Combat
PvP-focused for 50/20/30 formation
| Stat | Weight |
|---|---|
| Infantry Health | 1.5 |
| Infantry Lethality | 0.7 |
| Lancer Health | 0.4 |
| Lancer Lethality | 1.2 |
| Archer Health | 0.6 |
| Archer Lethality | 1.3 |
Best for: Early game PvP with standard 50/20/30 formation.
Philosophy: Maintains strong Infantry tank while investing more in Lancer offense for their flanking role. Archer Health is slightly lower due to backline positioning protection.
Unweighted
Equal weights for all stats - no assumptions
| Stat | Weight |
|---|---|
| All Stats | 1.0 |
Best for: Players who want unbiased optimization or are unsure about the current meta.
Philosophy: Treats all stats equally. Useful for theorycrafting, testing optimizer behavior, or when you expect major game balance changes.
Custom
Define your own stat priorities
Best for: Experienced players with specific strategies or formation compositions.
How to use: Select "Custom" in the Sensitivity Analysis Weight Tuning tab. Adjust individual stat weights using the sliders to match your playstyle and formation.
How Weights Affect Optimization
When the optimizer evaluates upgrade options, it calculates a weighted value for each potential upgrade:
Weighted Value = (Stat Gain) x (Stat Weight)
The optimizer then recommends upgrades that provide the highest weighted value per resource spent.
Example:
An upgrade offers +100 Infantry Health or +100 Archer Lethality.
- With Early Game Growth profile: Infantry Health value = 100 x 1.5 = 150
- With Early Game Growth profile: Archer Lethality value = 100 x 1.4 = 140
- Result: The optimizer would prioritize Infantry Health
